Pay it Forward
About the Pay it Forward Fund
Counselling and psychotherapy is currently made financially inaccessible to most people who need it. Where free services are available, they often leave clients with little choice in who their Counsellor/Psychotherapist is, or what kind of approach might work for them.

I believe counselling and psychotherapy should be accessible to everyone. This is particularly important when many people are living with financial insecurity, while at the same time facing harmful social, cultural and political environmental conditions. These conditions cause, compound and heighten psychological distress among both individual people and communities. In other words, many people are simply trying to survive, without access to the support or resources needed to have a good quality of life.
That's why I set up a Pay it Forward Fund: to help remove financial barriers to safety, growth and healing.

How does the fund work?
-
Anyone can donate to the fund, as much or as little as feels right for them.
-
When the fund reaches £400, ten free counselling and psychotherapy sessions are made available to someone who would otherwise be unable to afford it. That means people who donate pay for eight sessions, and I provide two sessions free. This allows us to collectively contribute toward making counselling and psychotherapy accessible within our communities.
How do I access the fund as a client?
-
The sessions are provided on a first come, first serve basis.
-
If you would like to join the waiting list to access free sessions, please submit your contact details via the form below.

What's the latest fund update?
-
As of January 2024, the Pay it Forward Fund was fully supported - with the biggest, warmest thanks and appreciation to all those community members who so kindly donated.
-
That means ten sessions have now been offered to someone who would have otherwise been unable to have choice and control over the counselling and psychotherapy that works best for them
-
Due to high demand, the waiting list is now closed. Once those currently on the list have accessed the fund, it will be reopened. Check back here for updates.
